Located in the heart of Williamstown, Williamstown Apothecary is proud to serve the communities of Williamstown, North Adams, Adams, Hancock and Pittsfield. And with a storefront on Spring Street within walking distance of the Williams College campus, the Apothecary is a convenient choice for students, faculty, and college staff to fill prescriptions or pick up last-minute items.
Led by supervisor pharmacist Sarah Roberts, PharmD, the Apothecary offers reliable service and direct patient counseling — all in a friendly and comfortable environment. The store offers immunizations, pet prescriptions, and an expansive over-the-counter selection, including organic products, as well as free in-home delivery of prescriptions Monday through Friday.
As a member of Berkshire Health Systems, Williamstown Apothecary is dedicated to advancing the health and wellbeing of everyone in our local community.

Our Team
Sarah Roberts, PharmD
Sarah Roberts, PharmD, is our Supervisor Pharmacist of Williamstown Apothecary and is a certified immunizer as well as CPR certified. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Northeastern University of Boston, MA and her APPE rotations included: Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital Boston, MA, Geriatrics at St. Elizabeth’s Brighton, MA, and Renal Medicine at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA. When she’s not taking great care of our patients in the pharmacy, you can find Sarah hiking, practicing yoga, and traveling.
THOMAS VIALE, RPH
Tom is our staff Pharmacist. He has worked locally in Northern Berkshire for the majority of his career since graduating from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy . Tom is CPR certified and has been a certified immunizer since 2011. When not taking care of our patients at the Pharmacy, Tom enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing golf, music and sports.
Ben Newton, CPhT
Ben is our Registered and Certified Pharmacy Technician and has been serving the community for over 5 years. He graduated from Adirondack Community College and MCLA.
Alexandra Tower, CPht
Alexandra is our Registered and Certified Pharmacy Technician and has been serving the community for over 5 years. She is a Certified Technician Immunizer and CPR certified. When she is not working hard to provide patients with fast and friendly service, you can find her out in nature hiking and enjoying good coffee.
